The Savitri Waney Charitable Trust
was founded by Mr Arjun Waney, a philanthropist and
businessman of Indian origin, living in London, who has
been committed to a number of charitable causes
throughout his life. In 2001, he and his family decided
to consolidate personal and family funds and form a
Trust through which they could support and monitor
charitable projects on a committed, long-term basis. The
Trust, named after Mr Waney’s mother Savitri, was
registered in the U.K on August 10th 2001.
